Welcome to the first ever news article about all things new in rock and heavy metal. I am Evan, I will be writing this section for you. I will be covering Album releases, top hits, tour dates, and my own reviews. Now, onto the music.
Album Releases:
Bob Dylan released his newest album, Together Through Life this past April. The price for this album is 9.99 on Amazon.com. With a mixture of slow songs and some slightly more upbeat songs, this album seems more blues than rock. Definitely an album to sit back and relax to. The music here is up to par with most other Bob Dylan records. I think that this album deserves a 3 out of 5. ( Based on my opinion)
Heaven and Hell, although more metal than rock, unleashes with it's new album, The Devil You Know. The lyrics are strong, the music solid, and the singer sounds awesome. They bring it out with a heavy style playing that just seems to enter your ears and leave you wanting more. This is a must for metal fans. While being a more prophetic band which you can tell from the title of the album, this is an awesome album. I say 4 out of 5.
The Rolling Stones, are back with a re-release of Tattoo You and Some Girls June 9th. Featuring songs such as Start Me Up, Miss You, and Beast of Burden. This is the same old RS we all know and love. They are the utter definition of classic rock. 4 out of 5.
Iron Maiden is here with a new album release named Flight 666. This Album is composed of all of thier famous songs LIVE. We all know that Iron Maiden rocks the house and this is as good as ever. The awesome music and guitar solos are still alive. We have come to expect such awesome music from these guys and they top even those expectations. 4 out of 5
Spinal Tap is coming at us June 16th with their new album, Back From the Dead. This album is somewhat eerie and will put a couple chills down your spine. The music is up to par with what we are used to from Spinal Tap. 3 out of 5
Halestorm hit the shelves with its album, Halestorm in April. This album is pretty good. The music is definitely awesome and the singer sounds amazing. Overall a good performance by this band. 3 out of 5
Queensryche hit us with American Soldier in March. What can i say? An awesome mixture of heavy and soft make this album to die for. The music is amazing and the lyrics full of meaning. Every song on this album is a delight to the ears. You can get this album on Amazon for 14.99. This album gets a 4 out of 5
