I’ve listened to this album for awhile now through Ruckus.  However, I just bought it a weekend or so ago.  That fact is quite saddening since I’ve been in love with Emery ever since I saw their video of “Walls” from their first album “The Weak’s End” so many years ago.

Emery just keeps getting better and better.  The album is wrought with emotion and melodies that give it such a rich experience.  Compounded with that fact, the format of their album just icing on the cake.  Some songs sound like monologues, others dialogs, and others are simply narratives of some story.  All the while, it is presented beautifully by the pair of vocals that they have.

By far, this set of songs are no doubt their best to date.  Also, they make lovely acoustic covers, especially “The Party Song”.  If you don’t have this album, then buy it.  If you have it, listen to it again.  And if you hate it, then shame on you and give it to someone more appreciative.  Also, go check out their other albums, “The Weak’s End” and “The Question”.  You won’t be disappointed, I assure you.
