Bejeweled 2- 4 out of 5, Its a fun game that links up to your facebook
so you can compare to your friends. If you like puzzles games this is a
classic. free
Pocket God- 4 out of 5, This game is superior for
wasting time. There are so many things you can do, and you play god for
little people on an island, what is better than that? .99 cents
Stone Loops- 3 out of 5, Another classic Puzzle game, very hard though after so many levels. free
Tap
tap revenge- 5 out of 5, Just like guitar hero and rock band apps.
Always a lot of fun to rock out to songs and they have a pretty good
selection of songs and you can download more. free
I Bowl- 3 out
of 5, you actually swing your iphone like your bowling, pretty much like
a wii game. its fun but gets old quick! free
The Price is Right-
4 out of 5, Has a ton of the games from the real show. The only setback
is that it is very repetitive and the prices are different than you
would guess! 2.99 i think
Oregon Trail- 5 out of 5, just like the
original with better graphics and some different games. always a
classic, and always fun! was 4.99 when i bought it, don't know now
Max
Injury lite, 1 out of 5, The only fun thing about this game is throwing
the dummy down the stairs and what not trying to cause him a lot of
pain and hitting multiple things at once. free
MiniGolf 99- 3 out
of 5, lots of holes, 99 to be exact haha, some are challenging and most
are fun. good game for kids and time waster. you have to unlock
characters and things like that. .99 cents
Capture the Castle- 3
out of 5, Would get a higher score but way to short. maybe if i paid for
this one it would have more levels. Its a catapult game where you have
to destroy their castle and the people in a certain amount of shots, and
you get powerups and things like that. Cool concept. free
I just
picked up civilization revolution for free the other day for free. Its a
fun game where you try to be the best in one area rather than others of
course and build your cities as much as you can. Good for while your at
work and need to blow some time!
I couldn't find any links
or anything, one because I don't know where to look but if you want any
of these games just do a search with your phone.
Thats it from HighRisks corner, more to come once I find more games that interest me. |

tF Purple Smurf's Weekly Movie Review - July 7th, 2010
An American Werewolf in London, directed by John Landis, and starring David Naughtom, Jenny Agutter, Griffin Dunne, and John Woodvine.
In an age where vampire and werewolf films involve a love triangle and sparkly blood-sucker, I needed some sort of monster movie that followed it's rules and traditions. While I was walking around the movie section at Wal-Mart, I stopped by the Blu-Ray rack and noticed An American Werewolf in London glaring me down. I looked at when it was released, and was glad to see it was in theaters before I was born, so it wouldn't be subject to the torture of a sparkly vampire...
The movie begins with two American college boys backpacking through Europe, and they start in Northern England. After stopping by a pub, they leave and are later attacked by a werewolf. David, played by David Naughton, survives the attack and becomes a werewolf. His friend Jack, played by Griffin Dunne, dies during the attack. As the story continues, David questions what happened in the small town in Northern England, and what he has to do stop his curse.
I thought that An American Werewolf in London is a great movie, a true werewolf movie. The acting was superb, the story was spot on and what you would expect from a monster movie. Although it was made in the 80s, it looked like a great movie. The make-up made me believe that Jack actually was dead. Another great part, or downside depending on how you look at it, was that there wasn't barely any CGI, if there was any CGI at all. The werewolf was kind of realistic, although it moved a little robotically. When David was transforming into a wolf, they used make-up and props that made it seem real. Overall, if I saw it when it was released I probably would have given it a 9, but because, as a generation, we've been spoiled with technology so the wolf was a little in unbelievable, I'm giving it an 8 out of 10. There have been talks of a remake, which could single-handedly save monster movies if it was done right.
This movie also spawned two things, one great and one not so great. The great thing was that this movie created the OSCAR for best make-up, and the not so good thing was that it spawned a sequel. The consensus for the sequel was that it was horrible and too CGI-y.
If you're tired of these new "monster movies" then I seriously recommend watching this movie because this is the reason that we watch monster horror movies.

OH BOY!!
Story of my life – and of my current gaming
career…..Since the inception of the 1st Xbox – I have never bought a
brand new Xbox or system. The first XBOX that I ever got I received as a
gift from my current wife. Then when the 360 came out – my brother, who
worked at a Blockbuster at the time, got me a refurbished one for my
birthday. Needless to say – as many of you know – the 360’s had this
GREAT problem the RRoD (Red Ring of Death). Well from the time that my
little brother (tF Adex) got me my first Xbox – to just recently I have
gone through 6 Xbox 360’s. The first four I had sent back to Microsoft
for free repair – but the last two I could not get fixed because of the
fact that they wanted to charge me money to have them fixed. But then news came…..news of the BRAND NEW, black, sleek and SEXY Xbox 360. Once I
saw the thing – my jaw dropped, and I was ready for one. But one small
problem – I had a functioning Xbox at the time. This is a story of how I
managed to lose my 6th Xbox and get the brand new sleek black
one…ENJOY!

The Entertainment Software Rating Board (ESRB) ratings are designed
to provide information about video and computer game content so parents
can make informed purchasing decisions. ESRB ratings have two parts:
rating symbols suggest age appropriateness for the game and content
descriptors indicate elements in a game that may have triggered a
particular rating or concern.
