The Beginning
Well this story started one day as I was reading a few posts on another forum, in reference to MW2 and that it was going to be released sometime late 2009. My first thought was YES!!!! And then it began, I started reconing forums for links, etc. After a short while I found 402‘s (community manager for Infinity Ward) twitter, and also found MW2 group on face book. And registered on IW's forums, which I might add is full of such random posts it might take you all day to find a post actually worth reading!!
So I know your wondering whats the word, well I will be updating this bi weekly hopefully or at least every few weeks. There are a lot of things circulating around the internet, talk of a Beta for us( we all can hope!!), Your character and the little things people have been deciphering from pics from the trailers and game play videos. I will be posting a few pics on here I will be taking to look for clues to gain a better insight of the game we are all craving, the game we call Modern Warfare 2!!
There really has been no official word on weapons, multiplayer or single player for that matter. We know that you play part of Task Force 141, which is a multi national group with soldiers from Delta, SAS, Seals, wonder where else? Only one perk as of yet has been confirmed by 402 and that is the everyones favorite: Martyrdom!
Yeah I know , lots of speculation on some of the others but until its confirmed I will not post on it. One part of the game that's sparked my interest is the Spec Ops mode (co-op) where you and a friend can play a co op style campaign and supposedly it takes about 8-10 hours to complete, about as long as the campaign. Then again this is just speculation at the moment. But I do recall reading it somewhere..lol..

Auto shotgun?? A lot of talk hoping its not in MP as it will be the next noob weapon.
Shot of the ballistic shield from SP, unconfirmed if its gonna be in MP. Personally hope not but if it is lets hope it is given a life meter or limited use.
Lots of rumors around Capt. Prices death, some folks think he will come back in MW2, but again all speculation.
Also speculation that this is the new "captain" Soap and the sidearm he is carrying the same .45 that Price passed to you at the end of MW.

Unknown character, notice both are dressed identical, CIA? Delta? SAS? Only time will tell. Also I say if this map goes to MP it will be called bone yard or something due to all the old aircraft in various stages of disarray.

This gunman is seen being chased by Soap and the others, I believe he is a big player/NPC in the Rio De Janiero sector of SP.
